Caswell Beach

Popular choice for anyone looking for a more private getaway.

Welcome to Caswell Beach

Caswell Beach is a cozy little beach located on the most eastern side of Oak Island. As the least populated of all the southern-facing Brunswick County Beaches, Caswell Beach remains a popular choice for anyone looking for a more private getaway or to live full time. Enjoy renting a kayak to scope out the Intracoastal Waterway or marsh creeks, cast some lines to reel in fresh fish, or book a lighthouse tour to climb all the way to the top and capture some of the most beautiful views around! There are certain spots on Caswell where you can even see the Southport Waterfront, the Oak Island Lighthouse, and the Bald Head Lighthouse all at the same time! It’s also a great viewing spot to watch the container ships navigate through to Southport on their way to port in Wilmington. Even though it’s more secluded, Caswell Beach is just a short distance from the shops, restaurants, and grocery stores of Oak Island and Southport.
